Back again, with another Emerald Nuzlocke. This time I got past Wattson who stopped my last two runs... and it was super easy, since I had Pebble to land some sick magnitudes and evolve afterwards. (Before my last two runs, I would have been sad to run into a Geodude instead of a Makuhita. Not this time.)
You'll notice half my team is sort of garbage, and the rest has an awkward level disparity. This is mostly because I lost two pokemon almost right before I reached the gym. RIP Sacher and Filico, they were two of my favorites this run. I was super happy to have a modest Grovyle, and never used a Taillow before. Sorry I underestimated a Meditite's ability to kill from full health, Filico.
I guess I need to decide which, if any, of Screamer, Truffles, and Scruffy should be trained. Having an intimidate on the team would be very nice, I like Exploud a lot (but have used it quite a bit in the past), and Breloom would be a nice grass-type replacement which fills two types I don't have yet. Hmm.
Getting past Wattson was bittersweet without the two mons I cherished most.
