>>30382452>>30382538Disagreed. I did like WoFF and Cyber Sluts, but I play Pokemon for a specific kind of gameplay, plot, music, creature design, etc. Pokemon's consistency is part of its charm, in my opinion.
There's no reason to change up that formula too much considering how long it's worked - there's enough room in the 'mon catching genre for Pokemon to stay Pokemon and games like WoFF to introduce different ideas and gameplay designs.
Now I'm really enjoying SM, because it feels like there's a good balance between staying true to the series formula while giving it enough changes and twists to feel fresh. I'd rather something like this rather than "let's make it like every JRPG out there".
