When we see the moderators deciding which personas can be
expressed, which personalities they will permit within showderp, they're
defining the character of the room. And I don't know, the room just seems
softer, it just seems, it's not the same. And I think that can be directly
attributed to the moderators and their overmoderation of the influx of new
users, and, you know, their moderating of peoples' personalities... Another
thing that I find interesting is not to name names, so there are usually users,
who are just poor users, they don't do anything necessarily bannable but,
they're just shitty users. They're probably not bad human beings, but they're
just not good users. And a lot of them, even spamming (you might know who I'm
talking about here) but yeah, they're just bad users, they spam, and yet they
don't get banned which they probably deserve to, or at least get muted when
they spam at the very least. So you know, they're overmoderating the people who
don't need to be overmoderated and they're undermoderating people who probably
deserve some moderation. And you know, it's just a bunch of dudes on the
internet, promoting their friends, power abusing, and I would hazard to say
that if you're a person who spends a great deal of time on showderp, as many of
us are, you're probably a personality who is not super-assertive, you're kind
of used to being pushed around by people.
