>>43844349It does, the timing is wonky though. For me, once the sync move he has appears, instantly use hypnosis ONLY and wait. Then he will immediately use swift after the hypnosis lands which you will then use a single hit (blast burn charizard for me), then beat him down to death with your damage dealer only and sync. So pretty much:
flamethrower > use hypnosis and 2 damage moves > once you see fire impact appear use hypnosis > he uses swift > use a hit move and he should be ready to kill
