Alright finished Jirachi Wish Maker before Tanabata ends in Hawaii.
It was alright, I guess. Didn't really believe that Max and Jirachi had kind of special bond, which they made the major condition for Jirachi's awakening, though it's clear they enjoyed each other's company. Enjoyment was probably also dampened by the fact that I was watching the dub, which had extremely poor scriptwriting (describe what is happening), so-so voice direction at parts and a villain who stayed in-character the whole time. A twist villain as well. Felt it would have been better had he gotten more serious lines, with a deeper voice once the mask came off. Think the Prince in Frozen.
Speaking of the Twist Villain, pretty good one. Did not see that coming the only problem is that he was Team Magma which then reminded me of how retarded the RSE plot was (let's drown everything! NO! Let's dry up the sea, too much water!). That dude was doubly retarded as he had a nice magic gig going on on top of a childhood friend with a nice ass. ...and instead he still goes 'MAKE MORE LAND!' His retarded plans came to nothing because it was retarded.
