Taken a shot at the HGSS teams reworking them. I think it was a missed opportunity on Game Freak's part not to incorporate the Gen 4 Evos for those Gen 2 Pokemon, it honestly makes Morty, Jasmine and Pryce more substantial imo.
Also before someone says "why did you stick to the shit levelling curve" there's nothing wrong with the levelling curve itself, the steepness of the curve works fine given the size of Johto as a region, the issue arises from how the curve is actually implemented because in Johto it's not really a curve, if anything it's closer to a Cubic Curve since in GSC and HGSS Pryce is weaker than Jasmine.
Honestly there's nothing wrong with letting the player face Pryce before Jasmine or Chuck but he should still be the 7th Gym Leader and that should mean he's able to woop the player's ass if they came right off Morty's Gym.
I haven't posted movesets because those'd take a while but I think around about Whitney you should be looking at Weakness counters being implemented and no later than Jasmine should fucking with the player be a tactic their Pokemon use.
