Viola mopped the floor with me, good god. I guess Vivillon just has tanky stats for early game because it was taking maybe 20% from Gust and even crits were barely doing 25%. F to f but he was expendable. Bethany dying was actually sad, being my first encounter and all (and possibly a guaranteed encounter?). I didn't expect too much from a Bug gym but it turned out to be pretty annoying. I should stop underestimating this game.
In other news, we got a Huge Power Azurill which I'm excited about but it'll be useless until it evolves. Hammered is gonna have to pull his weight (which is tough with a Calm nature) until we can get more encounters.
