before taking on the final gym leaders, i decided to take on the gym leader rematches. i'll be quick since most were pretty easy:
lt. surge: his team is pachirisu (very buffed defensively with prankster), dracozolt, rotom-wash, boltund, dedenne (has electric surge), and mega manectric. i got a larvitar from the game corner (only mon i think ill get from the game corner for fairness) who i named johnson, and with sand rush aria and mariah (who gets high horsepower) and some careful play around his switches it was a breeze. he gives light clay and manectite on defeat.
misty: her team is politoed, kingdra, inteleon, huntail, greninja, and mega gyarados. pretty basic rain stuff. i took away her weather with johnson, pivoted around with haydn and shepard, then obliterated her team with scarfed mariah. bolt beak is so op. she gives froakie and gyaradosite.
brock: worried for me a minute because his team comp is strong. gigalith, lycanroc-dusk, sandslash (has sand rush), omastar (shell smash), tyranitar, and mega aerodactyl. then i realized reed with 3 iron defenses walled him to hell and back and his entire team was dead in 6 body presses. aerodactylite and stone edge are the rewards.
erika: i actually did end up having a sort of legit back and forth battle against erika. tsareena, rillaboom, serperior, breloom, bellossom, mega venusaur. mega abomasnow gets slush rush in this hack, so shepard took out most of the team, assault vest horace beat down breloom and did most of the work on mega venu for adrian to finish it, iman beat serperior. she gives grass knot and snivy on victory.
the final gym leader is clair, and she's got probably the most insane team yet. hahahaaa
