You know what other game comes out on Switch this fall, and is one of the best JRPGs made in the last decade, if not all time?
Dragon Quest 11.
You owe it to yourself to just skip out on these kusoge gamefreak games, send a message to Nintendo that we care about quality, and play an actual amazing game at the same time.
Dragon Quest 11 is a minimum 80-100 hour long game that never drops the beat. It's got fun gameplay, rewarding overworld exploration, huge, sprawling towns, dungeons, forests, mountains, fields and much more filled with collectables, amazingly well animated NPCs and monsters, not to mention tons of top quality side quests.
The story is great. Most of the time it takes a back seat to exploration and whatever you want to do, but it always catches up with you when you want it to. Because of the story's relaxed grip on your adventure, it knows how to hit you really hard when it needs to. And it will.
Gameplay is classic JRPG turn based combat, but it's been polished to a mirror sheen.
The Switch version will have lots of additional content, and it looks to be the best version of the game with the features announced. Give it a shot. See what a game made by a studio who loves their franchise looks like.
Did I mention it has casinos? Blackjack, roulette, slot machines, you name it. It's got it.
