>>54722363Virtually every usable avatar has their model in .fbx within the project files and plenty of them also provide a .blend file so you can get to fuck around with them a lot, but I still get what you mean. Even if you get an avatar working in Resonite you kind of have to remake context menu options to control things, get visemes going, and you won't have things like finger gestures without scripting. At the very least there's generally people who might be willing to help or other people who might have configured the same avatar already. Think there's a few who do preconfigure avatars on
>Drag and drop import sounds rad though.Yeah, if a group isn't surrounded in inspectors it's probably memes or smut instead, but being able to share multimedia like this is genius, copy/pasting YouTube videos works too and shared inventory folders can have usable protocol links. There's a desktop view and file browser on the dashboard as well to make it easier in VR mode. Contrast to VRC avatars and worlds having to build in usable things intrinsically and SL having an upload cost (however small) on virtually everything. Whether it's worth the lack of polish elsewhere is subjective.
Have a vaguely on-topic demonstration. Still no word from a friend who might get that one mod mentioned in the last thread.
