Gen 7 overall is GOOD but suffers heavily from things like hallway routes, hand holding and no way to skip cutscenes. It would probably be my second or third favorite region if it had even basic QOL features, but as it is now, I can't even replay the games because the gameplay is 15 minutes of me actually getting to play and 2 hours of me mashing the A button to get through cutscenes.
