When Pokemon teams are battling, why do they hype up the trainers so much more than the Pokemon? Why do they give so much more congratulations to the trainers when their team wins? Why do they call trainers “strong” when they aren’t the ones fighting? The trainers aren’t strong, the Pokemon are. The trainers are just great at being trainers. It’s like if Rocky beat Apollo, and then everyone rushed over to Mickey to congratulate him for his win and tell him what a strong trainer he was. It doesn’t make sense.
