Pokemon Gold was the game I remember playing a lot more with Crystal right after to full completion up to Red
I played Ruby for a while but never finished it and started to not care
But then I returned with Gen 4, I started diamond, but I lost the cart and stopped caring until Platinum came to which I played fully into Battle frontier
Then I played Pokemon White, beat that, skipped out on B2W2 though
Then I played X, lost interest, skipped ORAS, then decided to finish X with Sun and Moon coming up and I did and I'm currently waiting for version exclusives to make my decision
