the order is
1st edition base set>shadowless base set>unlimited print run
shadowless cards appeared between the transitional periods of the first editions and unlimited cards. they took away the first edition stamps but still had not updated the artwork. when they did update the artwork the cards had thicker ink. shadowless=thin ink
additionally theres the 1st edition stamped base set cards with a thicker 1st edition stamp. collectors differentiate by calling them "thick first editions" and "thin first editions"
