Second, I would never pay any subscription service of any kind, the idea of paying for something you don't own will never not be a scam.
Third, I bought the game, barely played it because it just has nothing to do with Pokemon, it's just ARK that happens to have Pokemon looking creatures.
Though I had my suspicions about the real nature of the game the moment I started a save and saw the "creating world..." message.
