>>44347726The idea is that you'd switch into weak Knock Offs like Tangrowth's or Toxapex's to act as a knock absorber and get a buff in order to wallbreak early (and find an opportunity to megaevolve), but in practice you almost always want to keep Gallade healthy and use his above average special bulk post-mega to set up or eat a strong blow while retaliating and trading positively. Which is why meGallade is almost always paired with a slow pivot.
Same deal with base Gallade in the lower tiers but without your "item-immunity".
