I really hate what they are doing to Articuno. It used almost white with blue shine, then got progressively darker blue. At first I wasn't really bothered by this, because I figured it's because of the anime, and they wanted to be consistent. At least the shiny kept its original color. But now even that is darker than what its original color used to be. When I look at Articuno now, I'm reminded of
