I didn't see it mentioned yet (I might have missed it), but I absolutely loved how the regular gym battle music would change to a remix of the Pokémon main theme in B/W.
I hate to use the word "epic" because it's thrown around so often, but when the gym leader was down to their last monster and that music kicked in, you knew shit was getting serious. Or at the very least, it felt that way.
