It kinda pains me that this is the most appropriate image. It doesn't convey the sheer emptiness, the realization that what little fun you had has drained out of your skull. There's the images where he's dealing with the rage, the wrathful fire in his heart that pushes him, against all odds, but all fires burn out someday. Eventually, things lose their glamour, you lose your reasoning, and you hopefully move on.
