This phenomena isn't exclusive to just Lucas. I mean look at the BW2 trainers. There's like 10x more art (porn) of Rosa than Nate. Hell, it's pretty much the case for every pokemon game that the female trainer will be more popular than the male one except for maybe Gen I and II but that's because they didn't have female trainer's. There's way more examples in pokemon and even outside of the franchise but that's too long and not relevant. The long story short is that female characters will always be more popular than male characters simply because they are women, or maybe the women are wonderful effect. Oh and also coomers. A large portion of the art of female trainers is gonna be porn. Most coomers are male and heterosexual, so they're not gonna goon to a guy. I guess that's a benefit if you don't want to find lewd shit in google results for fanart.
