At the risk of taking the obvious bait here,
There are pretty clear stylistic differences between all of the Digimon you showed and all of the pokemon you “matched them with.
Literally every single one of them is WAY more visually busy design wise than pretty much any pokemon, let alone the ones they’re being compared to.
And that’s not even touching the fact that nearly every digivolution at or above Ultimate invokes one or more of the following:
>is a cyborg
>is a robot
>is humanoid
>has metal armor
>is notably asymmetrical
>is for some reason covered in belts
All traits which are rare to non-existent in pokemon.
It’s pretty clear they have a different aesthetic going on.
And I’m saying all that as a person who generally prefers the digimon shows to pokemon.
