So my buddy and me are going to battle two of our other friends in a double battle for bragging rights and a yet to be determined bet. We'll each be using 2 pokemon and I was wondering about what you guys think about the team me and my friend plan on using.
Because this is mostly just a for fun battle, and because it's so stupid our friends won't expect it, we're going to be running BOTH Mega Charizards.
The plan is to open up with Mega Charizard Y and Chlorophyll Venusaur side by side. Since Mega Charizard Y's Drought won't take place until he Mega Evolves it means any weather team they might plan to run just got shat on. It also means Venusaur's Cholorophyll will activate and he will most likely get to move first which means he can sleep any immediate threats on the field (trick room users, weather move users, and any mons we can't easily counter immediately).
At the very least I think we'll have a strong first turn and force our opponents to improvise. The idea is Mega Charizard X is brought out once Venusaur faints. We are still debating our fourth pokemon.
I doubt our opponents are going to run entry hazards since with only two pokemon each they probably assume we won't be switching enough for them to matter.
