Definitely more interested in this guy than Ash right now. PM has been doing this unsatisfying thing with Ash where it feels like he has a 'power boost', he's constantly referred to as strong, but instead of showing specific strategies being formed, his Pokemon just have a strength multiplier because they're 'Ash's Pokemon'. He doesn't have any conflicts or rivalries, just opponents who already like and respect him. Goh has people that he actually needs to work to impress and earn the respect of, and I wish more time was spent on that.
I like both of them but I wish there was a little more tension and stakes to both of their goals. As of now, Goh's stuff has more of that going on. These return episodes have burnt me out on how epicly sugoi and subarashi Ash is.
