>>46334208Because Game Freak is making it? SwSh has a terrible art direction and I don't understand if it is due to having no budget or time, a Let's go version of Sinnoh is the best outcome visually, and they can use the spare time and resources in other shit that actually matters.
GameFreak is never going to live to modern expectations either due to incompetence or genuinely lazyness, zoomies should understand than muh open world and woah 3D just like Carlos Doody is not necessary for a game like Pokemon.
But who are we kidding, it's going to suck either way.
