>>37121333The funny thing about 'voting with your wallet' is that neither Gamefreak or Nintendo have a way to tell whether the game was bought mostly by the new or the old fans. They just look at raw numbers and maybe check out what other games people have on their Switches along with Let's Go, but at the end of the day, outside of review bombing or contacting them 'directly' via social media (which could potentially have some effect if done by the Japanese), there's just no way to send GF a message.
tl;dr: Let's Go is the future and you're better off cutting your ties with the franchise now in order to avoid crushing disappointment in 2019.
