Let's Go looked like shit so I didn't buy them, and Sword/Shield looked like shit so I didn't buy them. Scarlet/Violet looked promising at first, which was different from Sword/Shield, but then I saw the ugly starter options and the ugly as fuck Terrastallizing gimmick just solidified the fact that I wouldn't purchase it. At this point, it's highly unlikely I'll buy another game made by Game Freak in their current configuration. I'm pretty sure I saw a post that the Japanese version of Glassdoor said that Game Freak is run by incompetent higher ups that are out of touch, and I can only agree with that summarization.
