I've been here since the daily threads on /v/, getting kicked to /vp/ which then promptly turned into /tr/ and had this whole era of Team Rocket-based OC, role playing and everything. I think one of the earliest memories I have is watching Pokemon Sunday and the collective hype when they announced HG/SS there. The best time to be here was gen 5 hype season tho, god damn that was fun. I remember the obsessive looking for roms and getting Cory in the House, watching people stream the japanese game. I still have a lot of reaction images from that time with the japanese pokemon names, since they weren't known in english yet. And then we decided to come up with our own names, pic related.
God I wish we could go back to those days.
