Walk to the tall grass, Oak has to stop you, then you get your starter, then your rival wants to see who can click Tackle faster, then you get as far as Viridian City, but sike, you have to go to the PokeMart, go back to Prof. Oak's lab, before you can get the Pokedex, then FINALLY the journey begins.
Also, any Team Rocket mission. It just feels like a big long chore before you can get back to the fun.
>JohtoTeam Rocket again. They're even worse in this Gen, with most of the Rocket missions being back to back to fucking back. It's a massive time sink that only exists to pad out the admittedly pithy campaign. At least you can get some EXP out of it.
>HoennUnironically the Battle Frontier. On the surface, it seems fun, what with the wide variety of modes, but it essentially boils down to a downgraded Stadium 3 stand-in without the minigames. Don't know why people get their panties in a bunch about it not being in ORAS.
>SinnohThe marshy area. Hope you have a Bibarel to slap HM's onto, otherwise RIP your entire time. Also, any surfing area if you're playing Diamond or Pearl.
>UnovaThe retarded twist at the end of the game. Absolutely kills the momentum of the game. Also, here's an OP legendary, have fun ripping N and Ghetsis' teams to shreds without even having to try. As for BW2, the sewers, I guess. It's just a distraction with very few good mons.
>KalosMost of the game, to be honest. Nowhere really stands out to me except the forest, the city with the big ass rock in it, and the cut content desert. No thanks.
