>>42371146>The amount of mental gymnastics in this postSwSh is an utter joke--even mores than SuMo.
Let's face it, Game Freak are hacks when it comes to 3D, and SwSh has set the tone of the direction of the series is going to take as far as the Switch or any subsequent console.
This is besides the fact that the Wild Area utterly undermines the series in general--why hunt down and train Pokemon when you can get a 5-VI of just about any Pokemon with little to no effort. Personalities can be changed, shared exp is now the default.
The fact of the matter is, a fucking mobile game has more depth than any mainline Pokemon game does now, and it's namely because of the fact rarity and training is still a thing.
Granted, I still play, but only because it merely piques my interests. If Game Freak has a repeat performance for their next game, or if Home is an utter failure--which is pretty much all Pokemon has going for it now, I'm probably going to drop the series. If I wanted to play individual games with no continuity, like Game Freak has stated what SwSh is supposed to be when they dropped National Dex, I might as well play Digimon or Persona, that has much more depth than Pokemon will ever have.
Fight me.
