I was going to go with Alpha Sapphire. I always preferred Sapphire as a kid but now I'm seriously considering Omega Ruby because I realized that the fleshed out Team Magma is very clearly some vague reference to Nazis with their disciplined appearance and salute. I never liked Groudon either but it's grown on me, not that I care too much about legendaries.
I'm still conflicted though because while Seedot should theoretically be exclusive to Ruby again, Sableye is exclusive to Sapphire. I hate trading to get Pokemon I want to use in my playthrough... Then again, if Shiftry got a Mega its stone would probably be exclusive to fucking Sapphire... But then again I'm forgetting about Cacturne which would be cool to use and isn't exclusive and is also a candidate for a Mega, perhaps even moreso...
