>>36452330I'm an idiot. I had Boogaloo out against Agatha's Golem and for some reason thought "it's going to use Earthquake, better switch out to SteamdClam" even though Raichu outspeeds and could've OHKO'd with Waterfall. And as thicc as SteamdClam is, it wasn't enough to tank Explosion. Trogdor took out her next two mons easily, and then she sent out Alakazam. This is why you don't complain about your nuzlockes being too easy. I knew the only hope I had of winning was paralyzing it with Boogaloo and then sacking it to heal Trogdor and pray for parahax. Luckily the shitty AI kicked in again and I was able to safely swap into Trogdor without losing Boogaloo. It confused me with Psybeam and got paralyzed several turns in a row, then she swapped to Scyther for no apparent reason.
The reason as it turns out was that Scyther's Wing Attack does more than half to Trogdor. I swapped back out to Boogaloo and managed to paralyze it, and then took turns attacking and healing until Scyther went down. And then Alakazam took out Trogdor with a crit Psychic. Boogaloo finally managed to take it down by spamming Waterfall while it constantly got paralyzed and used Reflect instead of attacking.
So to recap, I have three severely underleveled Pokemon and two of them are slow as balls and weak to the best type in the game. Oh boy, dis gon be good.
