>>46574854I'm gonna just take Steel/Dark.
>A fencing salle - There are six pistes that stretch the entire width of the salle which must be crossed to reach the Gym Leader.>Each piste bears two fencers on either side, mid-match. The player can attempt to pass behind them; if the player passes in between (or touches) any of the fencers they are challenged to battle.>All the fencer trainers use Steel Pokémon like Metang and Klink, there's no indication that it's also a Dark gym except for the decor.Pic related gives an idea of the Gym Leader's team; if five is too many drop one at random from the middle. Post-game, he will add a Hydreigon and swap Escavalier out for a Gliscor - those two, plus Scizor are all three-headed/clawed Pokémon which resemble the three fencing weapons of foil, sabre and epee, which the badge also resembles (although it'll still be called the "Foil Badge" for the double-meaning of "foil weapon" and "to thwart").
The battle strategy revolves around priority, just like in fencing - Sucker Punch & Bullet Punch are the tricks of the trade; the surprise Zoroark lead represents tricksy tactics and the ace is Bisharp. Pretty much everything also has Swords Dance. The TM could be any of those three, I don't care.
