This was always a containment board, and a lifetime target of a disproportionate amount of spergs with an axe to grind. Resident schizos have flooded and samefagged the board since it opened, and there's no reason for that change this late into the sites life.
The recent drop in traffic is from the covid era finally petering out, combined with people gradually moving on from the site. It's even slower than the statistics suggest, since a good chunk of activity is from said flooding and samefagging.
