The fix for the SS protag is easy, get rid of the faggy arts school beanie and give him a newsboy cap, make his jeans normal instead of twink tier skinny, turn the polo shirt into a red flannel shirt. Also give this fuckin guy some meat on his arms, fuck.
That would do it, mostly. There's no quick fix for how his face is drawn that I can think of though. Maybe make his eyes a little sharper, and give him a more pronounced chin and jawline to differentiate him better from the female. Additionally, change how he poses, the duck footed straight up and down looks fucking dumb. He's asking for a sucker punch. Give him more dynamism to contrast against the female's happy go lucky kind of energy. Make him hold his newsboy hat brim kind of like how Hilbert is, maybe at more of an upward angle. Change that dumb ass dot mouth into a neutral line or a thin smile.
