I would buy a SwSh-tier mainline game if instead of introducing new Pokemon and regional forms and gimmicks they just went though the backlog and brought every final stage/single stage Pokemon up to at least a rough baseline of usability.
Doesn't have to be everyone has 600 BST or a super unique niche, but the power creep over the last few generations is really making subpar Pokemon go from underwhelming to utter shit. The long term health of the series would benefit immensely from a comprehensive balance pass and if I have to shell out for a super phoned in single player game to greatly benefit the multiplayer/solo challenging content in the long run I will do it.
