Is anyone else bothered by the items on the ground? The majority of them were X Attacks and Speeds and Defends, which no one uses, not even the NPCs. In fact, the only NPCs I can recall using those items were the trainer's in Norman's Gym and I think Giovanni in gen 1. Pretty sure he used a Dire Hit once. Anyways, there are so many items now, but I feel like Gamefreak's conversation about which ones to use went as follows:
