NO ONE likes playing against evasion. If you do, hooray, go shit up XY wi-fi. It is by far the most infuriating shit way to play against someone, just in front of using a full team of 680 BST legends. If it fails for the evasion user, they get mad as fuck too.
Paraflinching is a different case. yes, it's still shit, but a lot of pokemon can actually overcome such a thing by just existing. Electrics not getting paralyzed and resisting both Air Slash and Iron Head(lol, zen/headbutt is shit) makes it the main check to that shit. You can heal paralyzed pokemon with things like Blissey. Natural Cure users don't give 2 shits. Pokemon that would rather be paralyzed than burned or poisoned don't give 2 shits(looking at you, trevenant)
Double Team and Minimize on the other hand? All they do is draw the battle out and piss everyone off. Run perfect accuracy moves with shit power or extremely limited distribution? No, too much trouble just for 2 moves. Roar/Whirlwind? What happens when those pokemon die? No sane person would run a team with 6 phazers. Haze/Perish Song? Also shit distribution, and we just banned the best goddamn perish user the game ever had to ubers.
