>>51221211This is my take on the regional rodent (even though it's not really a rodent, it's more like a nondescript monster). I thought it'd be funny to make a Pokémon inspired by oranges, and so Naranjete was born. Its line is actually my favourite out of all the Fakemon I've made. Naranjete is just a normal monster, but Zunarange's body is starting to liquify since it drinks so much orange juice. Around the 4th gym or so, you'd gain access to the items that'd let you evolve it to either Latarange or Sorberenge, Latarange evolves with an empty can and Sorberenge with an empty glass. The former would have strong physical attack and defense while the latter would have strong special attack and defense.
It'd also be the rival's ace (along with the starter that's strong against yours). The starting town would be a farming town, where the main produce would be oranges. Naranjete would also only appear as a wild Pokémon in Route 1 (since it basically thrives off of oranges and you can't really find orange trees anywhere else in the region)
