Lilie is too good. There past three years were the most fun I had with Pocket Monsters anime ever, not only the fresh approach to character designs and movement but also the script really made it feel extremely pleasant - loading the story with loads of fun, camaraderie and warmth but also never forgetting to add a bit of stillness, fear, anger and sadness just like in life. Thinking about it now it really threw me back in time and reminded me such marvellous masterpieces as Takahata's Haidi and Anne. I already miss Lilie, she's perfect.
Not sure how many people here are interested in production stuff but news Animedia (coming out 10th November) will have main feature dedicated to the new Pocket Monsters anime. Aside from seiyuu interviews it'll feature talk between Chief Director Tomiyasu Daiki (Director of SUN&MOON anime) and producer Negishi Tomoya. And also interview with Yasuda Shuuhei, character designer od the new series and also co-character designer of SUN&MOON. I'm not usually getting Animedia (when it comes to anime monthlies I'm more of an Animage person, occasionally getting Newtype) but I'm considering this,
