It's so wish washy about it, it's so autistic.
If you want only kanto mon to appear fine, but remove the extra evolution lines, I always wanted to play Kanto but with something like steelix or crobat, but they fuck it up every time and make Onix and Zubat useless pokemon again.
Fucking Mega Evolution already invalidates anything that can be said against them because it's a new generation gimmick that changes the designs of those pokemon, at least with FRLG you could unlock those pokemon.
But Straight up RBY have yet to have a decent remake, all of them are subpar. HGSS are a better remake RBY then LGPE/FRLG
