I always found genwars pointless since now you can just say Gen 8 sucks and everyone will agree. I used to fucking hate DPPT but now I realize they were mostly fine games and could have been so much worse, as Gamefreak continues to show me.

That's the real mood. If you told a younger me I'd spend more time shitposting about why you shouldn't get the next Pokemon game over being excited for fucking Pokemon console he'd be crestfallen. I don't want to shit on Pokemon, I love it so much, but Gamefreak forced me to do this. As much as I love Pokemon I can't support it with GF at the helm. Yeah I've found other games to enjoy but nothing is gonna fill the hole like Pokemon does.

If a Pokemon you like has been cut from SW/SH, it's entirely possible you're not going to see them again until the generation they're from gets remade. If a Pokemon you like IS in SW/SH, this is likely the last time they'll be playable for at least 5 years at the absolute lowest.
