from what you've said, i could just use homebrew sysnand for my legit games with the benefit of having access to checkpoint etc to gen pokemon or edit single player games?
i was told long ago that nintendo detect if people are running any sort of CFW on the system and that's what they ban for. for example using custom menu wallpapers etc.
