literally nothing.
>The problem with z-crystals
Very chaotic. You cannot tell what is z on your opponents team at a glance. Is he Z-solarbeam heatran? Is he z-Bravebird Talonflame? Is he Z-Edge garchomp?
Other than that z-crystals helped break stall and unaware teams from gen 5 like eviolite chansey and unaware clefable/ quagsire. But really for z-crystals you just had to get your z mon in, swords dance/ nasty plot up then z the next turn and you would get a k/o
>on dynamaxing
I think that dynamxing has the potential to make the game even more chaotic than z-crystals. For many mons running z-crystals, you bring them out, you calm mind, sd etc... then you drop your z and you confirm a k/o. I imagine dynamaxing will work just like this.
I think the game will get worse. Megas + z-crystals in the game together helped break stall and hazard stacking. But, if a player can dynamax their stall pokemon in response to another player dynamaxing an offensive pokemon then stall is just going to come back even nastier than before because ferro and pex and tangrowth and all those other nasty regenerator mons nobody likes are back in.
