If I remember correctly, Serebii's Pokeshipping thread was filled with speculation on Misty's "glorious return" or some BS of the sort.
BW is when the train hit rock bottom for them imo. Pokeshipping has been dry in recent years, and the fact that Oak told Ash that Tracey has been visiting Misty quite frequently on the last episode of BW must have stung.
Advanceshipping and Pearlshipping still had hints in BW. Pearl being considerably stronger since Dawn actually visited Unova, while May got a pretty solid hint on Ash's side, where he put his Teddiursa Gift Carving right next to all of his trophies and medals he obtained in Sinnoh.
They're seen on the very first and last episodes of BW.
On a final note, someone should make a new thread imo.
