>>55203885Probably a long ass time, for one thing the crystals actually seem pretty volatile and can in certain cases dissolve as seen both with dens and in the Underdepths where they shatter when certain Stellar pokémon is defeated. We should also remember that Terapagos has been in Area Zero for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time to spread it to cover Paldea. It won't be at the rate of Tiberium at least (Covered ~90% of the earths surface in 67 years.)
>>55204138It's a bit of a coinflip, on one hand it is the progenitor of them, but on the other hand the fact that BBA was able to artificially create the conditions that spawn crystals using samples form Area Zero and Kitakami makes me think they are likely selfsustaining and self replicating after a certain point. It really depends on how much BBA is actually babying the Terarium environments to make Terastalizing possible.
