>>40081154How are regions and features like Festival Plaza even remotely similar to the one absolute and utter main focus of the game, the thing that people are supposed to become attached to, that they're supposed to want to bring with them from adventure to adventure, from region to region, game to game. That they're supposed to treasure and make memories with and of? You don't see people with fucking plushies and merch of the Sinnoh region map, or someone with keychains or hoodies or gifts from their relatives/friends that are related to the fucking wonder launcher.
You know what you do see that type of shit of though? The fucking Pokemon. You know, what the entire fucking series and god damn franchise is about.
You can trade and transfer, create experiences with, come to love and adore Pokemon, not fucking places and features. Because that's what the game is based around, catching and collecting monsters that you can hold onto and bring with you throughout the years, not anymore though, now that GameFreak is too busy getting whipped by TPCi as well as their gear project to implement all the Pokemon.
And the Pokemon are just the fucking icing of the shit cake that is this whole mess, the absolute and utter lack of proper effort that can be seen when comparing the information they themselves are giving us to other Switch games, and even fucking previous Pokemon games/spinoffs is ridiculous.
Fucking hell man, I understand loving this franchise, I fucking love it myself. But that's why I'm so god damn disappointed, I just can't fathom the idea of calling any single fucking Pokemon """"box filler"""" as if there isn't someone, ANYONE out there that's attached to that Pokemon and is going to be sad when they're not available in SS.
There are so many other games out there that give the fanbase what it wants AND more, why are you guys so fucking ok with losing a portion of the core aspect of the franchise and not gaining anything for it? I don't understand.
