>>46379909The unfortunate truth is that Let's GO was the closet thing we'll ever see to a genuine heartfelt remake from them. It had good graphics, cameos from other regions, added in every gimmick across all the games as long as they'd reasonably fit into Kanto, added in things that were being requested by fans for decades such as following/riding Pokemon, and you could tell they actually cared about representing the region. And then they added in that disgusting catching mechanic and forced you to use either Pikachu or Eevee and it just all fell apart.
