So, I just looked through the whole monster gallery, and while there were some that were pretty decent, most ranged from shit to just plain boring. I liked the fish based on the kunai and sais, for example, too bad the katana one ruined it.
The worst offenders were the daft-punk Pokemon and the titanic Pokemon. Possibly the worst fakemon ever. Primeape evo was pretty bad too.
Things like the chimera and gargoyle were just boooring. These were opportunities to take interesting real-world mythos and offer a unique spin on it. That's Pokemon. Not just copy-pasting the real world mythos.
Some were just digimon, like the pirate ghost and vandal rat. The bad kind of digimon.

Not every electric type needs to have a fucking lightning bolt on its body.
