As a kid I would I would imagine everything on that tiny gameboy screen as a real world full of awe. I'd have internal dialogues with my Pokemon and the in game characters, making up their reactions to create something special. I'd really be in Ilex forest under my bedsheets, I could see the moon peaking out under the tree canopy, sense a movement on the water, and feel the night alive with freedom in a wide world of adventure, side by side with my best friends.
Now, my autism just focuses on numbers and battle simulators. I hate what I've become but I don't think there's any going back.
