BDSP leaked early, as it had an earlier date-of-delivery (whos making their first game, it took GF 6 to make their first Pokémon game and they couldn't risk NOT having a christmas release on-sale for the kiddies), meaning it was further along the supply chain than Legends would be (Game Freak not actually missing delivery in the last, what? 13 yeaars? meaning they don't need a release date as soon as the whos got tasked with), due to Game Freak being used to releasing games in two years.
